Re: Lost my sister. Lost without my sister.
Norinda - I wanted to write and let you know I am so sorry to read about your sister! Your post is the one that has me out of hibernation - losing women due to childbirth makes me so mad! And sad. Really really sad. Words fail me sometimes but I wanted to let you know that I saw this and am thinking...

Re: What should I discuss with my new doctor?
If it was me this is what I would do (and your thought to bring the records was spot on!): I would ask for them to do a 24 hr urine and I would keep a log of my BP's for the weeks prior to my appointment. Re: Baby in NICU for one month now
Oh sweetie! Like Catherine said - congratulations on your baby girl! You really have been put through the ringer with everything that's been going on! I'd like to give you a little different view on the breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is good but very few of us (including myself) were able to nurse fro...

Re: Slow weight gain and genetic abnormalities - SUPPORT NEE
Hi - just wanted to chime in and offer my experience.... A couple of things. My pedi always said that as long a a child was growing - gaining at all and was moving forwards on developmental tasks then that was a good sign. I know that my l3 yr old ittle bitty preemie still has talking issues (we are...

Re: Bottles and Pacifiers
Jamie - Anna Grace loved the paci's they used in the hospital - I don't know the brand but they come with a special preemie nipple. It has a little cut out at the nose for oxygen if needed. For bottles she liked the little bottles they had at the hospital with a small gerber (again, preemie) nipple....
