4 month check-up

<t>Ivy finally had her 4 month check-up. I know, she's almost 5 months but I have been so sick I couldn't leave the house to take her in.<br/> She is up to a whopping 8lb 3oz and 22inches long.<br/> She got all her 4 month vaccines, 3 shots and an oral vaccine. They also confirmed that she has a yea...

Re : Preemie Girl Clothes

"If our weather would just cooperate and stay warm we could go to onesies and summery stuff instead of footie sleepers"

I know what you mean. It was 77* here today but it's supposed to only be 49* tomorrow and possible rain/snow. It's crazy here.

Re : Any labs after delivery?

<t>I just had labs run while in the hospital and they wouldn't let me go home until everything looked good (almost a week later).<br/> I then had labs run again at 3 weeks when I was readmitted for a uterine infection. I then had just a regular panel run at my 6 week appt. I was then told I needed t...

Re : Breastfeeding and post partum high bp

<t>With my first and my second, I began pumping right after they were born and my BP returned to normal almost immediately after the baby was born. My third, fourth and fifth it went down, then back up then back down and I nursed/pumped for all of them. My 6th is the only one that it remained higher...

Re : Might be a Dumb Question but..

<t>The dip sticks vary depending on the time of day, how hydrated you are and of course, the actual amount of protein you are spilling. <br/> <br/> I believe I was somewhere around 300 on my 24hr urine at 7 weeks and part of the time I was dipping 3+ protein. At 16 weeks I was only dipping 1+ (but w...

Re : Preemie Girl Clothes

Yep, she's getting there, very slowly. She's almost out of her preemie clothes but the newborn clothes are too big. We need an inbetween size.

Re : How big/% was your micro preemie at 2?

<t>It's not just micro preemies.<br/> All of my kids are petite, well, all but one :)<br/> <br/> My 28 weeker (2lb 9oz) wasn't even 20lbs by 2yrs. She will be 3 in July and is only 23lbs right now. She isn't on the charts but has stayed on the same curve which is all our ped has been watching. She's...

Re : Preemie Girl Clothes

That is such a nice thing to do. What a wonderful idea. Ivy is still in preemie clothes but I'm afraid by the time we got anything, she'd be grown out of them, at least I'm hoping she will grow that much. In a couple months I may be able to add a couple outfits to the bunch though.

Re : Baby loosing weight?

<t>Well, it looks like there is more going on than just weight loss. Today Ivy started projectile vomiting. She's also running a low grade fever (100.6). Trying to get her to eat more isn't going to happen today. We are lucky if we can keep pedialyte in her. I called the pediatrician and he said if ...

Baby loosing weight?

<t>I'm a little concerned. Everyone just assumes I know what I'm doing because Ivy is my 6th and I've had preemies before but none of my kids were like this. She weighed 7lb 1oz at her appt on the 20th. Yesterday I took her to a WIC appt and she was only 6lb 8oz with her diaper on. Before she came h...
