Re : Food issues with my almost 2 yr old

<t>As a quick update, we have an appointment with a pediatrician at the local children's hospital on June 3rd. Ryan is eating milk with carnation breakfast, cereal bars, toast and soda crackers. He was quite sick with the flu recently (even suspected meningitis, but cultures were thankfully negative...

Re : Preemies weight at two years?

<t>I totally agree with what the others are saying. Holly was born at almost 36 weeks, almost not a preemie, with severe IUGR. She is 3 yrs old and 23lbs right now. She is happy and healthy and following her own curve, with the help of a healthy high calorie diet. Her curve is well below the charts,...

Re : Food issues with my almost 2 yr old

<t>Thank you ladies so much for your input. I posted this last week because my husband and I sensed something was changing with Ryan and it was worrying us. At that time, he was starting to be difficult even with the 5 things that he did like.<br/> <br/> Paige, it seems he is doing exactly what you ...

Food issues with my almost 2 yr old

<t>You guys have helped me so much in the past with respect to the slow weight gain of my first little one, Holly, who is now 3 and still very tiny at 23lbs, but a great eater in terms of what she will eat, if not how much!<br/> <br/> My son Ryan is where we need help. He will be two in June and is ...

Re : Hiney Welts

<t>We have had the same experience with Holly. She regularly gets hives. Since the age of one until now (she's almost 3), she has probably had them about 20 times. They usually come on fairly quickly, starting on her limbs and move to her torso and face and cover alot of skin. As they disappear, new...

Re : No 2 yr molars yet?

Holly will be 3 in two months and I haven't seen any signs of her two year molars. She's also been late for all of her teeth.

Re : Growth of IUGR babies after birth

<t>Our daughter, with severe IUGR, was well below the charts at just under 4 lbs when born at 36 weeks. Although she has remained small so far, she has made some progress. She's 2 yrs 7 months and has gradually been climbing in percentiles for height - she's almost at the 5th percentile now. For wei...

Re : New Here/Introduction

Hi Charlotte. Welcome and congratulations on the birth of your little guy!

Coincidently, my son was born on June 29th (one day difference) a year ago, also at 34 weeks.

Looking forward to hearing updates on how you're doing!

Re : underwear for the preemie

<t>It's funny that I saw this post today of all days. We started potty training today! Holly is also super tiny - she's 2.5 yrs old and 19 lbs with not much of a bum. We searched high and low, and posted here as well for ideas. We're limited to shopping in Canada - it was too expensive with the exch...
