Re : Samar and me..... a love story! (and pics)

<t>OMG! He is so cute! With all that hair he looks so much older than he really is! Your kid I think has more hair than my 3 year old! <br/> You sound better? I really hope you are all settling in to a nice routine. I totally understand not being able to afford the expensive formulas, they are ridic...

Re : C-Section weirdness

<t>does it feel hot to the touch? Are you running any fevers? I worry about an infection because of how your feeling. I had an emergency c with DD and had a nasty infection and a LOT more pain during recovery with that one vs my second section. Talk to a Dr, the worse that will happen is you'll be f...

Re : 1 Year and I'm OK, I think

<t>I think when you suffer a loss the end game is being OK with never being OK again. I have learned to live and accept. At the same time I wouldn't give my life or my kids to have my DH back. I think maybe that sounds different than what I'm intending, but hopefully you'll get the point! Good luck ...

Re : OK weissbluth sleep question....

<t>I personally say go with your baby and your gut. What is your gut telling you to do? I so remember not trusting my guy with my 1st, I wish I would have! You really can't do all that much damage at this point. I think I heard somewhere that any habits that form can be undone in under 1 week with b...

<t>He is a cutie! <br/> I know it's hard when you realize you aren't the mother you always thought you would be. That does NOT make you a bad mother, just different than what you thought. I hope you find some peace as the newborn phase passes, it's the hardest for sure. However it seems then you get...

Re : I am not sure where to put this (PG mentioned)

I don't have any advice or experience, I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you. I think this is one of those things that you won't know until it happens. Just remember somehow you will get through this, try to be gentle with yourself and feel what ever it is you need to feel.

<t>You said you switched formulas, did you go to one that is for colic babies? I think it was nutramigen we finally had to feed Mason for the 1st couple months. I BF'd, but had a few surgeries, and was so wore out that he had to have a few bottles. When ever we'd give him straight up enfamil or what...

Re : Aren't there any uneventful second pregnancies!?

<t>Me too! My 1st was awful and PE lurked and finally caused us to deliver at 38+ because my BP was super high. I went on to have a 2nd and after 9 months of torture wondering when my world would come crashing down I had my son at 39 weeks exactly! I did have GD with #2 which increased my odds of PE...
