Hi Jessice, First congrats on your pregnancy. It is totally understandable that you are scared after having such a hard time with your first. Pre-eclampsia takes the carefree away from pregnancy for many women. Please know that many women have gone to have completely healthy subsequent pregnancies. ...

Re: bone loss?
I have not heard of this from others. I did have teeth/mouth issues after my pregnancies, but it's not clear they were pre-e related. I have not been on blood thinners either. I know pregnancy itself can have an effect on dental health. If you had any lingering gum infection this could cause bone lo...

Re: When does baby usually get to come home?
For my preemie, born at 34 weeks. I was told that he could be in the hospital until his dues date, but what mattered most was not age but his ability to meet certain criteria ie, breath on his own, achieve certain min. weight, ability to eat by mouth, and maintain body temp.

Re : Sleep Waking
<t>Everyone sleeps in cycles, form lighter sleep to deep sleep and up and down. In lighter sleep a person may stir, make noise, talk etc. Toddlers sleep cycles are different from when they are babies - so you may just being seeing a shift in the cycle and he's reacting to a dream state. As you said,...

Re : What will happen to me-unique situation
I am not a doctor and have no idea of this reaction would be harmful in pregnancy.
Can you just wear a long sleeve rash guard type shirt and long pants. I know you'd be hot - but your skin would be protected form the sun - and this avoiding the reaction?

Re : Whats next?
<t>Congrats on the birth of your little girl. It does sounds like so far your little one is doing well. I can imagine it is extra difficult not being able to see her often. You will grow in confidence for how to care for her before she comes home. She will still be smaller than most newborns but she...

Re : Adjusting to baby #2 after PE with child #1?
<t>Congrats on #2!<br/> <br/> I so remember that feeling in those last days before #2 came. I so enjoyed my little guy and knew it would be different when there were two of them. It did help though that my DS was so excited to be a big brother. I did make an effort to give him focused attention - so...

Re : Food issues with my almost 2 yr old
I hope the doctor is bale to help you or at least refer you to someone who can. While toddlers are discriminating eaters - he sounds extreme and the weight loss is a red flag.
