Re: Anyone from North Carolina out there?
Hey NC ladies,
I just noticed there are a few of us from the Charlotte area, or near Charlotte. Just wondering if you glas would like to discuss starting a promise walk here?

Thank you Preeclampsia Foundation
Over the years, since losing my son, Hunter, to severe PE in 2005, I have visited the site/forum to share thoughts and see if there's others who share similiar stories. We all share something in some form or another. I'm happy to share that I'm stronger knowing I'm not alone. Today, I took an extra ...

Re : Impaired maternal cognitive functioning after sPE
I recall having some memory loss after PE, but I also experienced word confusion, studdering and having a hard time getting sentences out prior to delivery. Mostly, right when my PE got severe.

Re : Reason for concern?
<t>Thanks for the reply. I checked my BP at home later that day and it had dropped. My concern this morning is slight swelling in my hands. It's very cold here and my hands are freezing, which usually means they are very slim, but not this morning. They are swollen enough to make my rings uncomforta...

Reason for concern?
<t>Hello Ladies,<br/> Went for a normal ob visit today (19 weeks) and thankfully I have no protein in my urine, but my blood pressure was a little elevated, 138/62. Any ideas, or suggestins. My doc said that we'll just keep an eye on it. He sent me to the lab for a preeclampsia panel, but he doesn't...

Re : Grief all over again
<t>Well, if anyone believes in the power and miracles of God, I've got one for you. On my first post I mentioned that I had an u/s today to determine if the pregnancy was progressing and I had convinced myself that it hadn't (no symptoms, nothing). I also understand that something can still go wrong...

Re : Heard a song...
<t>Oh sweetie, he knows! I deal with those same feeling everyday I think of Hunter. I delivered him stillborn and I did hold him close. But I was asked again by the nurses if I wanted to hold him a second time and I said no, that would won't be able to hand him back a second time. I was also very si...
