Stressing again - is it warranted?

I'm sorry for blabbering. And sorry for stressing here. But I hope that you can read through my randomness and offer your thoughts. I hate asking for advice or validation, but man...I am worried and I am just reaching out there into cyberspace for someone to hold my hand. See? I am begging. And yes,...

Made it to 32 weeks!

My first pregnancy resulted in a 32 week birth with preeclampsia and HELLP. Just arrived at 32 weeks during pregnancy #2, and this is an exciting moment for us! Blood pressure is still up and down, but generally pretty low. I'm excited about this milestone, so I just wanted to share. :-)

Stressing and Confused!

In the last week my bp has been all over the place. From 90s/60s up to 130s/70-80s. Doc said that after my high reading, if anything changes, go in and at least get checked out. After seeing her, I had a resting pulse of 116 and two nose bleeds in one day. So I went in, and everything looks normal. ...

Re: What was your tip-off?

I sought help for back pain. I had a deep, dull ache in my back that would not go away with rest or massage. By the time I went in I was already in kidney and liver failure. Looking back, I had some other signs....but my bp and urine were normal when all of these other signs were going on. My signs ...

Re: 28 weeks - question about recurrence!

Today I was at a store with a blood pressure machine, so I sat for a little while and took mine. It read 130/77. I sat for another 10-15 minutes and took it several more times. the only change was that my last reading was 130/78. When I got home, I took it again on my machine. 92/70. My readings hav...

Re: 28 weeks - question about recurrence!

I had some very uncomfortable back pain so they ran a HELLP panel last week to be safe. My ast and alt are low, but they are saying everything looks ok. No additional swelling at all and the initial itching that came with the swelling is gone now. My bp is irratic. Yesterday I had a low of 92/58 and...

Re: 28 weeks - question about recurrence!

Thank you ladies. Sorry for the late reply. Lost my password and had to find it. My blood pressure has gone from steady 90s/60s to consistent 110-114/70s for the least week. I'm having a little swelling in the hands, feet and eyelids but nothing that is noticeable to anyone else. But the itching tel...

28 weeks - question about recurrence!

Hello, Quick question. In 2008 my daughter was born at 32 wks at just over 3 lbs. I had pre-e, then delivery, then severe post-partum HELLP (platelets below 19k) requiring 5 days hospitalization. That's the condensed version. I had considerable swelling by 28 weeks during that pregnancy. Also, flyin...

Re: Accupuncture

Caryn - what is the effect of the weight loss? I read 2.8% somewhere but cannot quote a source (didn't save it). What are your thoughts? Thanks.
