Re : daytime naps/routine

<t>Jana,<br/> <br/> Create a routine around your schedule and then repeat... and swaddle him. I swaddled Addi for as long as I could. I don't think that swaddling him will confuse him... however, since swaddling is so relaxing, you may find that he sleeps too long.<br/> <br/> With both of my childre...

Re : please help...need suggestions

<t>Yeah... many of us agree that swaddling works. Addi was probably swaddled too long because it was awesome. We did what we called the burrito roll... swaddled her in a lightweight blanket (traditional swaddling technique) and then rolled her up in a larger flannel blanket (the flannel made it hard...

Re : Question on buying a nursing bra

<t>Really... the best thing I ever did was find a N0rdstr0ms [;)], get sized and buy the Goddess Nursing Bra (also made by said company). I only bought two because a $40 bra is quite expensive for me, but after a couple weeks of wearing, I bought two more. They are durable, wash and wear well and ar...

Re : just diagnosed w/pe..update..need DR advice

<t>as are we, as are we. <br/> <br/> Be sure when you make the request to have your urine checked that you specifically request the 24hr urine. Otherwise, they may dip your urine and call that suffice. Which, the dips are notoriously inaccurate, and at this point you would make us all feel better wi...

Re : just diagnosed w/pe..update..need DR advice

Allison,

You are not overreacting. Not at all. Your concern is valid, and I am a bit concerned that they didn't have you come in. Could you possibly call back and request to have an appointment? Perhaps even request a 24hr urine?

Let us know!

Re : Question about what Midwife told me...

<t>Nope, there are a few women here that had severe renal impairment (one in particular, I'll see if I can dig up her question in the Experts) that preempted elevated bp. We also have another woman here that suddenly developed HELLP with no prior symptoms of PE or bp issues. There are even reports o...

Re : postpartum swelling

<t>Christy,<br/> <br/> Residual bp issues could be contributing to your problems. It can take longer for your kidneys to recover especially if you're still having bp issues. I know that I continued to spill protein for months after Dylan was born and my OB assured me that it was because my bp had no...

why is it so hard to lose weight...

<t>when you're breastfeeding? <br/> <br/> As mentioned in weight loss buddies... I was always told that breastfeeders loose so much weight... ha! What a crock... between nursing Addi and cutting calories and exercising, I should weigh what I did before ever having children, but I don't...<br/> <br/>...
