Friend's daughter just born at 28 wks

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I am posting for a friend whose wife just had what sounds like HELLP syndrome. Their daughter was born three days ago, at 28 weeks. Mom and baby are doing OK right now. Mom's BP shot up to 215/120 and she started vomiting, having chest pains, and her liver enzymes were out of whack...

Re : 2nd GOOD UPDATE

Oh no, Kara. So sad to see this. Hope your friend improves and the little guy hangs in there. I will see what I have for boy preemie stuff. I have mostly pink outfits, I think.

Re : Nursing Question

<t>Just wanted to say on the leaking issue, I leaked until both of my daughters were 10 or 11 months old. I hate those stupid pads, too, but they saved most of my shirts from being ruined! The other thing is that while right now your chest is large, it may not be like that for long. I went from a C-...

Re : what are your LO's eating (and liking) these days

<t>Fruit smoothies made w/ blueberries, bananas, ice, milk, honey and cinnamon are good right now b/c berries are in season and cheap. And healthy! We do a lot of cashew and almond butters on whole-grain crackers; carrots lightly steamed with soy sauce and a sprinkle of orange juice and ginger powde...

Re : Waking up screaming???

<t>I am dealing with the same thing now. My daughter is about the same age -- a month or so older. We just get up, cuddle her, and try to put her back to bed in her own bed. If it happens more than twice, I put her in my bed (which everyone will say is wrong, but at some point you need to sleep!).<b...

Re : Umbrella strollers.....

<t>Speaking of McClaren umbrella strollers, does anyone know how to get the straps to tighten more? It seems like I have them as tight as they go, and my 16-month-old is STILL too small for them, and she is pretty big for her age. I heard such good things about this stroller and assumed it was user ...

Re : Q's for Mirena Users

<t>I spotted for two months pretty much nonstop, although it was very light. But annoying. Then it all went away, and I get a period (much, much lighter than usual) every month. However, it sticks around for eight or nine days, which is weird. I am still breastfeeding a bit, and I also just got the ...

Re : Preemie Girl Clothes

I also have several preemie onesies, sleepers and outfits that would fit a baby girl up to 7 lbs. I would be willing to send these at no cost except shipping. Send me an e-mail if anyone is interested.
