The Brochure Distribution Campaign (BDC) can be one of the Foundation’s most effective initiatives to help reduce the number of pregnancies that are robbed of their joy by preeclampsia – but to do so, we need your help!

As you may have seen on our website, a recent survey by the Foundation illustrated that lack of awareness can make a dramatic difference in outcomes. The women who didn’t know about preeclampsia and gave birth prematurely, suffered double the negative outcomes when compared to those who also had preemies . . . but were informed.

We have no cure . . . we have no preventive measures . . . the only weapon we have in this struggle is INFORMATION and you can be the person who helps to get that vitally important information into the hands of women who need it most.

If you are willing, the Foundation will send you – at no cost – brochures and other informational items for distribution at OB/GYN offices, clinics, libraries, women’s groups, etc. Our Volunteer BDC Coordinator will send you (via e-mail) a package of information that fully explains the campaign . . . and provides you with a step-by-step "How To" guide. All you need to do is click here (brochurecampaign@preeclampsia.org) and send a short e-mail message (be sure to include your contact information) to receive the information. Then you can decide if you want to be part of this nationwide, grassroots effort to minimize the tragic impact that preeclampsia too often has.
